Funders are increasingly expanding the scope of funding for aging issues. Kendal Charitable Funds (KCF), a relatively new grantmaking entity, is in its second year of funding Promising Innovation's Grants (pdf). KCF's grants focus on enhancing the life of the aging population through services, research, and/or the development of new understandings and awareness of the issue.
KCF is accepting Letters of Intent between April 1st and May 15th. The proposed project must focus on: Elder Abuse: Identification and/or Prevention in one of the following areas:
